IPP Day - Sep 29
September 29, 2025, is IPP Day in Northern Lights Public Schools.
This is an opportunity for families to meet with their child’s teacher and other members of the Student Support Team to discuss their child’s Individual Program Plan (IPP). Teachers will be contacting parents of students who have IPPs to schedule meetings later this month.
Taking some time in advance to prepare for an IPP meeting can help the school team learn more about your child. Parents and guardians may want to make some notes about their child’s strengths, challenges, and daily experiences at home or after school. These insights provide valuable context for the school team. Sharing ongoing observations, ideas, concerns, and celebrations can help to strengthen the plan and support student success.
The NLPS Inclusive Education Team has created a Preparing for an IPP Meeting document, which provides families with some ideas about what they may want to share at the meeting with school staff.
